With the Oscars less than a month away, we are pulling out the stops to help you prepare for Hollywood’s biggest night. We have updated www.bing.com/awards with the latest Bing Trends data which includes predictions based on who and what people are searching for this year. We are also partnered with The Hollywood Reporter to create the ultimate Oscars resource guide. The site provides interactive features powered by Bing, including “Bing for More” integrated search features which showcase an array of biographical information, photos and news on the nominees. The site also allows you to cast your own vote with the Bing-powered social ballotwhich uses crowd sourced data to generate predictive assessments of 2014 winners.

Here’s a quick look at what you’ll find on the sites.Based on Bing searches, it’s looking like Best Supporting Actor could be a close call. Jared Leto and Jonah Hill are neck and neck, each capturing 35 percent of searches for best supporting actor for their roles in “Dallas Buyers Club” and “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

And if searches are any indication of who will take home a golden statuette, Leonardo DiCaprio may finally win his first Oscar for his riveting portrayal of Jordan Belfort in “The Wolf of Wall Street” in the Best Actor Category. DiCaprio accounts for 54 percent of the searches for Best Actor with fellow nominees Christian Bale coming in second with 20 percent of the searches.
